The program uses a 5-pronged comprehensive approach to treat weight gain and obesity at its source. Our team of physicians and trained healthcare professionals will create an individualized plan to identify specific metabolic needs. The objective is to increase your metabolism and your body’s ability to burn fat, decrease food cravings and increase energy. All while progressing to a leaner, healthier RENEWED you!
What is Dr. Nuzzi’s 5-pronged approach?
Step 1: Scientifically designed eating plan created specifically for your metabolic needs, developed from results of your blood analysis, health diagnostics and history and desired goals.
Step 2: Nutritional supplementation targeted to address overall nutritional needs, digestive health and decreased fat absorption.
Step 3: Program adaptation and hunger management incorporating specially developed protein shakes and bars.
Step 4: Patients will be instructed at the appropriate time on how to implement a fitness and exercise program.
Step 5: Accountability and progression through one-on-one sessions with a physician and lifestyle coach to ensure goals are on track. Included are educational materials to help make informed choices regarding food, grocery shopping, eating out, reading labels, understanding carbohydrates, sugars, fats and much more.
What is the timeline of Dr. Nuzzi’s Lifestyle Transformation program?
Each Lifestyle Transformation is an individualized 12-week program, broken down into three phases.
Weeks 1-4 patients begin to balance blood sugar, stabilize PH, break carbohydrate dependency and start to experience a life-changing shift in health and weight. Average weight loss in this phase is 4-10 lbs.
Weeks 5-8 patients are doing well having made changes in eating habits. This is where the lifestyle transformation really begins! Patients are coming off meal enhancements/snack replacements and have made the changes necessary to follow the plan, still using the targeted supplementation to aid in the overall metabolic processes. Patients are on their way to optimizing their health, continuing to burn fat, stabilizing blood sugar and reducing cholesterol. Average weight loss in this phase is another 4-10lbs
Weeks 9-12 patients are gearing you up to maintain weight loss and continue to make healthy changes. By this phase, most patients have mastered exercise, nutrition and stress management for optimal health. Average weight loss in this phase is another 4-10lbs or a total of 14-30lbs
